With 38 years as a supervisor for the Chehalem Park and Recreation District, I bring extensive experience in managing budgets and securing funding. Fiscal responsibility means finding smart ways to reduce costs, such as minimizing utility expenses and optimizing operations without cutting essential services. 

I am committed to maintaining financial stability by prioritizing efficient use of resources, supporting staff with proper tools, and extending equipment life when cost-effective. My track record includes securing significant grants and donations for key projects, ensuring our parks thrive without overburdening taxpayers. I will continue to pursue external funding and make thoughtful financial decisions to safeguard our district’s future.
