I’m excited to endorse two outstanding candidates for the Chehalem Park and Recreation District (CPRD) board—Nick Konen and Brandon Slyter. Together, we are a nonpartisan, community-driven team dedicated to enhancing recreational programs and facilities for everyone.
Our commitment isn’t just talk—we’re already involved. All three of us actively serve on CPRD committees, working to make a real difference. Nick plays a pivotal role on the pickleball committee, where his leadership has directly contributed to the development of new courts for our community. His ability to push initiatives forward is exactly what CPRD needs. Nick has been involved in sports and recreation his entire life, from playing competitive tennis and lacrosse in his youth to coaching basketball, high school tennis, and Linfield University's Women's Lacrosse team.
Brandon, on the other hand, brings a sharp analytical mind and a data-driven approach to problem-solving. As a current member of the CPRD budget committee, he ensures that funds are allocated wisely and effectively to benefit our parks and programs.
By electing us, you’re choosing leaders who are not only passionate but also actively working to improve CPRD every day. Let’s keep our parks thriving and our recreational programs strong—vote for Nick Konen, Brandon Slyter, and me!
